Letters C and H and numbers 1, 2 and 3 in brass from quarrymen’s carriages on the Penrhyn Quarry Railway. The carriages were designated by letters, with the three compartments numbered.
When the workman trains ceased to run, the Talyllyn Railway acquired several of these carriages. The photograph by John Adams shows coach P at Tywyn Pendre on 6th June 1953.
