The nameplate ‘Kettering Furnaces No.6’ carried by Manning Wardle locomotive works no.1123 of 1889. This 3ft gauge locomotive worked over the extensive ironstone tramway system on the outskirts of Kettering. The tramway closed in 1962, and the locomotive was scrapped in 1963.
